First Congregation Church Wedding: Brad+Danielle

Hello World!  I have been away from the blog for quite awhile, but I am so happy to be sharing Brad and Danielle’s wedding with you today.  My theme word for 2015 is Celebrate!  Life is full of so many opportunities to celebrate the little things and that is what I want to focus on this year, to help me cultivate a heart of gratitude for the people and experiences in my life.  This wedding screams celebration and pure joy.  Literally, you could hear squealing and giggles from the bride/bridesmaids dressing room all morning long.  I couldn’t help but smile every time I heard them as I was walking around the church.  There was not a doubt that everyone was extremely excited to celebrate the story of Brad and Danielle and help them write the beginning of a new chapter in their life together.  I’m so thankful to have had my husband assisting me for this wedding and all the credit goes to him for some amazing shots of the rings and the groom and groomsmen shots.  Molly Taylor Designs created the absolutely beautiful flower arrangements for the ceremony and reception.  They really were spectacular. The wedding took place at the First Congregational Church of Hudson and the reception was at Firestone Country Club in Akron.  The details of this day were gorgeous, but nothing was even comparable to the joy that radiated from the bride and groom on their most special day.  Congrats to Brad and Danielle and best wishes for a long and joy-filled life together!  Enjoy some snapshots from their incredible day.  ~Jen215

Adventures in Kite Flying (and mud puddles)

I love the excitement from the kids as we got ready to fly our kites, but the wind was crazy that day and the kites were not taking flight.  You will see in the next few photos how things took an unexpected turn.ImageImageImage

You see, I started taking pictures of the sky and it wasn’t until my daughter started screaming that I figured out what was going on.

Elise managed to get her kite in the air for a brief time and meanwhile Nolan was stripping off his mudding clothing.  My son does not like to be dirty.  But I loved what happened next because I can’t imagine a more fun way to capture a little boy than naked, dirty and running free in an open field.

Nolan showed us his belly so he wanted to see his sissy’s belly too.

I can’t imagine a better shot to capture the end of our adventure;)
