We had such a gorgeous summer night for this session. Lindsay let her girls pick out their own outfits and I just love how this let their fun personalities shine through. They all looked great and it was an absolute joy to capture this family!

Brandywine Falls Session: Henn Family
Huntington Beach, Ohio: Lake Family
I just love this family! Gavin and Hannah celebrated 10 years of marriage this summer, so we had to do something special for this family session. On top of that they celebrate each of their kids’ birthdays during the summer and Gavin’s birthday is tomorrow:) We had the perfect evening together and I’m so happy with how these turned out. Definitely one of my absolute favorite sessions of all-time.
Newborn Baby Emilia
Baby fever–that is all these newborn sessions are doing for me;) Such sweetness. It is always fun to capture bitty, sleeping babies, but those incredible moments between the entire family are my favorite. I just love capturing those emotions because I hope that someday, years from now, when clients look back at their pictures, they can feel bits and pieces of those emotions all over again.

Capturing a Mother’s Heart {Mother’s Day 2013}
To All You Incredible Mothers:
Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to capture your heart for your children.
I love those first, intimate moments as they come into the world, those proud moments all along the way, to their wedding day and birth of your grandchildren.
These moments fill up my heart because I know just how you feel. Sure not every day is like a walk in the park, but these moments we get to capture are the most important. They represent you fully enjoying this gift that God has given you in your role of motherhood.
Moments of PEACE, LOVE, laughter and pure JOY, hugs and kisses, and time together…these are the memories we hold onto.
I feel so blessed to walk alongside you all in this journey. Thank you for sharing your heart with me.
Wishing you the happiest of Mother’s Days,
Jen
The Story of Family {capturing memories to cherish forever}
The Cubs Fans
Lifestyle photography has to be my favorite thing at the moment. Getting a peak into the lives of a family is so much fun, not to mention I get to meet some really great people! This family was such a joy to spend the morning with, capturing the three (four if you count the dog;) of them spending time together. Towards the end of the session they told me they were going to put on some jerseys for a few pictures. When I found out they were Cubs fans I couldn’t wait to tell them that I was a Cardinals fan;) We had some fun bantering and despite our differences, we still had a great time. It was a priviledge to get some memories they will hopefully cherish for a long time.
Go Cardinals!

Gleeson-Prata Family
Yesterday was one of the nastiest days we have had in a while. Blowing winds, rain and cold could not keep this family from getting their pictures taken though. This was the only day that worked with my schedule while they were all home together, and it was a suprise Christmas gift for their mom, so we made it work. We had a fun time, despite the weather and we were able to capture some new memories, which in the end is all that matters.
Thirty Acres Private Drive {Kapela Family}
Driving by the sign that read Thirty Acres Private Drive, I often thought, “How cool it would be to live somewhere like that?” And when I drove past it two times, trying to find their address, I was so excited when I finally found it because I was finally going to get to see what was on this private drive I admired. There were several older homes and lots of land, which I can imagine is a huge bonus with two very energetic and adventerous boys! I had so much fun hanging out with the Kapela family and I am looking forward to getting to know them better since we go to the same church. They are some seriously fun people:)
