If there ever were a little boy that really made me work to get a shot of him, it would be Lukas. He is such a sweetheart and he is also incredibly shy.  He branched away from mom for a bit, but as soon as I would talk to him or raise my camera up, he ran right back to her.  It really was sweet to see how much he loves his momma:)  Once he got a little more comfortable he was running everywhere.  The smiles you see here were literally about a second long before he bolted in another direction.  His personality started to really come out about 30 minutes into the shoot and I was even able to get a high five from him when we were finished.  Being patient with kids and letting them get comfortable is what this is all about.  And when I finally get to capture a bit of who they are, it makes it all completely worth it!
