From Texas, Indiana and Ohio, they travelled to Springfield, Illinois.  It had been six years since some of them had been together.  It was time for a weekend all about family, food, laughter and fun.  5 dogs and 17 people made for a lot of great memories.  

The heat index was over 100 degrees for most of the weekend, so the pool was a necessary activity…even the dogs needed a swim.

 

Don’t forget about the food…this family knows how to cook, so eating at all hours of the day was a given.

Each Welker celebrating a milestone anniversary from 25 years to 40.

or enjoying the sound of bagpipes.

 

They started out as four Welker kids in Olney, Illinois

 

Then grew to this

 

Producing them (you were missed Leann!)

 

And adding one more generation
